Day 1 Arrive Ahmedabad - Local
Arrive at Ahmedabad airport /Railway Station and meet our representative and get transferred to Hotel. After freshen up, you’ll be visiting Sabarmati Ashram which is also known as Gandhi ashram, situated on the banks of River Sabarmati. This ashram has a special place in the Indian History. There is a museum which showcases the Indian Freedom Struggle.
Afterwards, return back to Hotel and have an overnight stay.
Today post breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Poshina. Upon reaching check in to Hotel. After freshen up we will have a trip of Poshina village. Poshina, situated in the Aravalli ranges, famous for pottery, tera cotta horses, tribal handicrafts etc. We will also meet the Garasia Tribes, who are famous for their colourful attires.
Today post breakfast we will be visiting Danta Vilage. We will interact with the Garasia Tribes and learn the way of living and artistic works of the tribes.
Post breakfast, you will be transferred to Dasada. En Route we will be visiting Patan and Modhera. In Patan, we will visit Rani ki Vav (Queen’s Stepwell) which is situated on the banks of Saraswati river. In Modhera, visit the Sun temple, dedicated to Surya Devta. The temple is also a splendid architectural marvel. Afterwards we will reach Dasada village, which is famous for textile weaving. We will have an interaction with the weavers. The Salvi community is famous for the Patola weaving.
Today post breakfast we will have jeep safari to the Little Rann of Kutch. The wildlife includes Blackbucks, Nilgai, Indian Fox, Desert Fox, Flamingos and many more. It will be an amazing wildlife safari for you. After the safari we will explore the villages and have an interaction with the locals regarding the textile work, handicraft etc. Later on, head back to hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from hotel and leave for Bhuj. Check in to Bhuj hotel and get freshened up. We will visit collector’s office to get permit for visiting the tribes. Rest of the day is for leisure; you can visit the local market. Overnight stay at hotel.
Today post breakfast, we will go for a full day excursion to Banni villages. Further we will visit villages of Hodka, Ludiya, and Dhordo. In the evening return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Today we will be visiting Bhujodi. This village is famous for blanket and shawl weaving which has been in existence since many decades. After the trip of Bhujodi village, we will visit Tundav village, Nirona village. We will meet the artisans of weaving, painting, wood work etc.
After breakfast, transfer to Wankaner. En-route we will visit Dholavira, which is an archeological site where once Harappan civilization flourished. Afterwards proceed to Wankaner. Upon reaching transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.
Today checkout from hotel and proceed to Jambughoda. We will visit Lothal which is also an archeological site. Later on, we will proceed to Champaner. Champaner is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on the footsteps of Pavagadh. The Jama Masjid is a wonderful architectural marvel worth visiting. After the sightseeing proceed to Jambughoda. On arrival, check in to Hotel for overnight stay.
Today post breakfast, visit Rathwa and Nayak tribes of Chhota Udaipur. We will have interactions with the locals there. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Ahmedabad. Upon reaching check in to hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Today post breakfast check out from hotel and drop you to Ahmedabad Railway station/ Airport. For your onward Journey.
